  • It usually takes 30 working days to be issued a D-visa. After that, upon arrival in Bulgaria you must be issued a Bulgarian ID card in order to be registered as a student.

    But if you have no visa they won't issue the ID card. So make sure you get all the paperwork done before you travel to Bulgaria.
