  Let me start off by commending your website for such a great forum.
  My question: I received my AOR in March 2007. I live in India and it takes 4-5 years for the papers to come through so I would like to visit Canada asap on holiday and look for a job at the same time. I will do the prep work of submitting my resume online weeks in advance.
  I have a cousin in Toronto who is willing to sponsor my accomodation.
  I heard that for would-be immigrants visit visa is denied. Is that true?? If so is there any way for a would-be immigrant to visit Canada?

  I live in FLorida, am a U.S. citizen. I applied for Canadian immigration back in September 2007, in March, we received requests for medical examinations and new police clearance records, which were completed by the end of March.
