    Make sure you bring a shirt with long sleeves in the summer, as the airconditioning is very strong everywhere. It is absolutely freezing in the malls and restaurants! And generally it would be better if women covered their shoulders and avoided showing too much leg happy Most probably nobody will say anything to you, but you will feel uncomfortable yourself if people stare (and they will, given a chance).

    Unless you are on a special medication, I don't think you will have a problem. Pharmacies are quite good, and special prescriptions can be obtained from the doctors if you have to visit one.

    Excellent photo opportunities in Qatar so bring that camera!

    Swimming suits, comfortable clothes (natural fabrics are the best), good walking shoes. Everything else is readily awailable to buy/rent.
