work visa

• Hi there, can anybody tell me if i can apply for a work permit, while im in Canada on a visitors visa, as i want to find a perminent contract whilst im out there. I am British so my holiday visa is six months. I thought it would be more benificial to speak to employees face to face, im inthe construction force.
