Visiting Canada

I'm looking to visit a friend in Canada travelling from England,i've been told that i'll be given a 6 month tourist visa on arrival,i'm going for 2 weeks but i might stay a month if i'm enjoying it.Also i've heard the visa officers ask questions on arrival & can refuse me entry can anyone help me regarding what they ask?

do not worry that much
You can say that you are on holidays in Canada. They may refuse somebody else before a british citizen
