Address information on visa

• Hello,
  
  I'm trying to finish my student visa application, but it requires an address where I'll be living in the UK. I haven't sorted that part out yet, however. Any suggestions on this?
  
  Is it verified? Could I use my school's address? Hostel address? Address of a place I'd like to live? Address of distant relative (even if they live nowhere close to where I'm going to school)?
  
  Any info would be appreciated, thanks
