swiss german

i am australian and have a swiss german girlfriend and believe me the best way to go is to learn hoch deutsch first because you will never understand the language properly unless you have hochdeutsch as a base then you can better incorporate swiss german into your everyday language,its not easy thats for sure but try,all the best..
